Katarnag Lake

Katarnag Lake is a high-altitude lake situated in the Aru Valley of Kashmir, right in the lap of the mighty Himalayas. Spectacular landscapes and views make up the visuals of this location that put one in awe with each step. The initial stages of the trail follow the spectacular meadows and pine forests of Kashmir that changes over to the rocky, less vegetative areas of the higher altitudes.
